Hi everyone. I have my first international flight to BKK tomorrow. I have my visa printed. TDAC filled. Please share your arrival experience? Do I stand in normal immig line or special line for DTV? Share first hand experience please. Important things to remember?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Arriving at Bangkok with a DTV visa, travelers should expect to stand in the normal immigration line, as there generally isn't a special line for these visa holders. It's important to present your printed visa, TDAC, and passport clearly. Many recent travelers reported smooth and efficient processing, often taking less than five minutes. Although some may have been asked for supporting documents, it's advisable to have them organized and ready, as immigration officers may perform random checks. Remember to verify the date on your immigration stamp and be polite during the process.
Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC)

WARNING: Only trust Thai government websites with .go.th domains or Thai agent websites with .co.th or .in.th domains, as these require verified Thai registration and cannot be registered anonymously.

The official TDAC form is available at tdac.immigration.go.th, which uses the official .go.th government domain.

The services by AGENTS CO., LTD. does NOT charge any fees for arrivals within 72 hours. If you need to book more than 72 hours in advance, there is a service fee of $8.

Do not trust other sites pretending to be a trustworthy agency. Pay attention to delivery time - the service operated by AGENTS CO., LTD. has 1 minute delivery time for arrivals within 72 hours.

Don't fall for sites pretending to be agents.co.th or the official government tdac.immigration.go.th website. Always double-check the exact domain in your browser.

Scam services may take days to process your application, others may not even do anything. With these TDAC scam services you also need to worry about double charges.

Please watch out for TDAC misinformation spread by fugitive Jesse Nickles and his many fake accounts on Quora, TripAdvisor, Reddit, and other platforms.

TRUSTED TDAC LINKS:

Once you land. Nobody will allow you to get lost. Everything is signed simply for all nationalities.

Before immigration:

Get Google or AI to tell you what 180 days is. So you can calmly check your stamp.

At Immigration:

Make sure they know DTV. Show page or print out before passport page.

Don’t worry. You did the hard bit!

Arrived last week. Presented printed out e-visa (entire page), passport and TDAC. Had all my other documents ready but didn’t get asked for anything else. Stamped for 6 months and through in less than 5 mins. Very efficient!

Zero delay on an entry last month. I had access to the priority immigration line due to a business ticket but there was no lines at all. I took the normal line, presented my TDAC confirmation (on my phone), passport and boarding pass. Was stamped through 6 months. Where I had the most trouble was getting a Bolt to my hotel from BKK😭

just the regular line - present your passport and Visa print out at the same time - you may not be asked anything - if you are just answer - there are random reports of being asked to show the supporting documentation for your Visa - so not a bad idea to have it in a folder easily available (eg not in your checked bag) Don't offer wait to see if you are asked and then provide what asked for - so have your documents organized - when you get your passport back before you leave the desk just check that the date written in the stamp that show "allowed until" is 6 months after entry. Once you are in calculate the 90 day date and be sure to file your report in compliance with the rules for that. It will be fine Dont forget to say please and thank you
