I want to get my retirement visa so I can live with my wife. My monthly government pension is almost 12,000 US. That should meet the monthly income issue. How do I get a bank account with just an visa exemption. Can my wife be a co owner on the account. Can that money be used for household expenses? I thought could get account without a non o visa. We own a house and have Children
I'm curious as to what makes you the "group expert". There seem to be a lot of someone's called "experts" on this site and many, many answers that directly conflict and oppose other answers given by so called experts.
Thanks for the info. I'm not too too worried about not regaining entry. My passport proves I've been out of Thailand for 6 months prior to this entry and I have a return ticket home.
I hear the same bad things about health insurance for older expats with pre-existing conditions. I have US health insurance with world wide coverage and will pay out of pocket then claim reimbursement through my US insurance. I see the retirement visa has an insurance requirement..how do you get by this with the situation I noted. It sounds like the whole insurance requirement is a scam.
you really should know what your talking about before you comment. You obviously have no idea of the level of tariffs other countries place on US goods...time to even the score.
