Health Insurance. I’ve read a lot of posts on here. Long term retirement visa coverage. Not a short travel plan.
Seems like everyone is satisfied with all these companies until they file a claim.
So many poor reviews from ALL these companies. Either they refuse to pay claims or refuse to communicate with you, or the coverage/deductibles are just ludicrous.
Who do you put your trust in? Or is this just a roll of the dice?
TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around the challenges and experiences expats face with health insurance in Thailand, particularly regarding long-term retirement visas. Many expats express concerns about the reliability and coverage of health insurance providers, citing numerous poor experiences when filing claims. While some recommend companies like Pacific Cross, Cigna, and AXA, others feel uncertain about trusting these companies due to high costs and significant deductibles. Key points include the necessity of comprehensive coverage for aging expats, the perceived scam-like nature of insurance requirements for visas, and the recommendation to consult experienced insurance brokers for assistance.
