Question for those in the know. I’m trying to get some health insurance. Problem is I have diabetes, so no one will touch me here, even with a waiver.

The question is should I just omit the fact that I have diabetes ? With my medication it is kept in normal limits

Any opinions , im 58 btw

Hey,

Can anyone point me in the direction of a health insurance cover for expats that will take me with pre existing medical conditions please?

I'm not worried that they won't cover those conditions, but im looking for cover for accidents, cancer, stroke, heart attack etc.

I'm currently in the UK but after 25 years here with my Thai missus, we've decided its almost time to retire back to Thailand. I'm 49 and she's 53. Plan is to make the move next year when I hit the big 50. But unless I can get cover im quite concerned about not having insurance in place in case the worst happens.

I have spoken to one chap, but he said I was unisurable, but im hoping that isn't the case.

Cheers

Hello,

Does anyone have experience with a health insurance that also covers pre-existing illnesses? Most insurance companies do not cover pre-existing illnesses and will refer to pre-existing illnesses in case of claims, even if the claim has nothing to do with it. Furthermore, international health insurance is quite expensive.

I am married and have an O visa.

Thanks in advance for additional information.

Health Insurance. I’ve read a lot of posts on here. Long term retirement visa coverage. Not a short travel plan.

Seems like everyone is satisfied with all these companies until they file a claim.

So many poor reviews from ALL these companies. Either they refuse to pay claims or refuse to communicate with you, or the coverage/deductibles are just ludicrous.

Who do you put your trust in? Or is this just a roll of the dice?

I moved to Nakon Ratchasima last year and kept my US health insurance (62 yo male in good health). However, the insurance is $750 USD a month. Is it advisable to cancel that insurance, get local insurance, and just get travel insurance for my twice yearly trips to the US to see the grandkids? I plan to just do 10 day trips to the US. Thank you.

Greetings, may I ask who people are using for health insurance that are staying on the DTV visa? I’m currently using travel insurance, which will run out and very interested in what people are finding out there for long-term coverage. I do have a pre-existing condition if you call that as I had a kidney transplant 18 years ago, but regarding that everything has been normal ever since. Thanks in advance.

Hello, I want to spend my retirement in Thailand. I will travel to Thailand on a family visa for good and I want to get insurance there but unfortunately I have pre-existing conditions. I have already read a lot about this topic regarding pre-existing conditions but unfortunately I haven't found anything suitable. What kind of health insurance can you recommend that you have had good experiences with and is affordable? Please no answers that are not related to this topic.

Hi there,

I need some help for my parents of 76years old retirement visa in Thailand.

Anyone can advise me on the healthcare insurance as my country will cost so much like $15k usd per year with 5k deductible.

Any other ways to let my parents to come over to stay in the most easier and cost savvy way.

My wife and myself will be holding retirement visa.

Thank a million for any advise 🙏🏻

Hello everyone, I would like to ask if there are any questions in the group about private health insurance to take out. And opinions, above all, based on experiences.

It’s more because I need to get annual medical insurance, and there are so many options that I get overwhelmed.

I'm not looking for the most expensive, exclusive, or premium insurance—just something that allows me to move forward as human.
