Hey
@Wa***
, is Chiang mai on average cheaper than a Bangkok do you think?

If you’re defining a “Day” as a 24 hour period in which the earth rotates, measured from midnight to midnight, then I think you’re WAY overthinking. It’s 48 hours

@Martin *******
the tests you’re referring to such as the ones you get at CVS are fine

@James *******
the test he’s referring to is a RT-PCR test. I have had them done a few times at CVS.

They have not announced use of rapid antigen testing and likely will not. So you’ll still need a hotel.

I shopped around for insurance and ultimately decided on AXA Thailand as it’s very well known and accepted by Thai Pass and has what looks like pretty decent coverage generally over and above just COVID.

If you go to the Thailand Pass site and go through the process to the point where you’d indicate the hotel you’ll be staying at, you will see they have a list of hotels that they recognize. I cross referenced my picks against this list to make sure. Not sure it matters ultimately but I bet it can’t hurt.

I contacted hotels via FB Messenger and email but mostly on Line which is a very popular messaging app in Thailand.

This is what I asked and it’s what I would suggest you ask;

Hello,

I need a QUOTE for a single night quarantine for ___ people.

Please provide a price that includes;

X people

- Room (24hr)

- RT-PCR tests for each of us

- Meals for each of us

- Rapid antigen test to take with us when we leave
