Applying for a METV.

They ask for;

“Document indicating current residency”.

Then they also ask for;

“Applicant must apply for e-Visa via specific Embassy/Consulate conforming with his/her consular jurisdiction and residency. Applicant is required to upload document that can verify his/her current residency”.

What are the looking for here? My north certificate or something like a utility bill or bank statement with my address on it?

TLDR : Answer Summary
To verify your current residency when applying for a METV (Multiple Entry Tourist Visa), you can use documents such as a driver's license, ID card, utility bill, or bank statement that includes your address. The authorities require proof that you reside in the country where you are applying for the visa. Different documents are acceptable depending on your situation and country of residence.

ID card, yellow card, etc. depending on which country you are living? It needs to show your address.

Proof you live in the country where you reside and are applying. In UK you'd have multiple things to prove you live there. Council tax bill. NHS number. Passport.

Some countries like the US have multiple consulate that cover different areas.

They're basically asking you to prove what your address is. If you have an ID like a drivers license or something, or a utility bill may work.
