TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion centers around the validity of the Thailand Pass issued before December 1 for travelers arriving in January, amidst changes in entry requirements back to a PCR test. Some commenters are confused about what specific changes have occurred, with references to concerns over a new strain of COVID-19.

I think you will find that there where some changes. One being if you arrive after December 15th you cannot apply for your pass until December 1st my question was is a pass issued prior to December 1st still valid to enter in January 2022

OK have your way Garrett but try checking a QR code for one issued prior to December 1st for entry in January 2022 you may find that it is not now valid. As has happened to a friend of mine.

Everyone has a friend that knows a friend that did something somewhere. I haven't seen a single person have their Thaipass "no longer valid".

you can check the validity of your pass just use your phone to scan the qr code. The problem appears if you land after 16th December
