Linda, your husband could do this himself but most companies have at least a contract accountant which is actually a necessity for required monthly and yearly reports that form the basis of the required documents to get another extension of stay. In no way is a lawyer required with the exception of original company formation. Hiring an accountant by contract is a normal business activity here in Thailand. An accountant can get all original company records from the DBD (Business Department, the Revenue Department, the Social Security Tax Office and perhaps the Ministry of Labor (Work Permit). These Departments can also provide copies of all required monthly reports and payments such as the Social Security "Social Fund" tax payments made by the 15th. of each month (paid at an authorized bank normally), the Revenue Dept. will have copies of the salary tax payments on your husband's required salary (PND1 and PND91) and Company tax payment reports. You will also need a copy of last year's Balance Sheet (a required Audited financial report). An experienced Accountant can find and assemble a document packet required for a new Extension of Stay. And usually at a price much lower than what a lawyer charges (the lawyer likely hires an accountant to do this and tacks on his/her lawyer fee.)

Other methods of tracking need to be devised and implemented. Thailand is now offering a online driver license. The description contained some element of interactivity. Just allow non driver ID cards in that system... add reporting feature with GPS. If you don't want to use - then you do it the hard way

Brian - Just relax as others have pointed out only ONE method of funds transfer has been discontinued. You can use standard wire and SWIFT code. Or use TransferWise and/or the Borderless Account TransferWise offers. I have a friend who has been using TransferWise from his U.S. Bank to Bangkok Bank... After just two transfers the transfer time is down to 1.5 days at a very reasonable rate.

Working in Thailand requires paying taxes, but you can't work in Thailand on the Elite Card Visa.

Some immigration offices only require a TM30 when returning to Thailand from abroad. Some offices have tried to enforce the TM.30 for domestic travel

Darren, I have a one year B Visa multi entry, last year I was on a one year extension of stay (B visa extension). So I understand the process involving B Visas and Extensions... However, I do not understand what you wrote here " 2. If you’ve ‘stretched out’ a non imm b multi the 90 days past the VISA expiry date shown on the actual non imm b visa itself, would this be an issue for immigration when considering you for an extension to stay based on working? .... ???

Please explain.
