Nigel Mills British Airways? Cancelled my flight to London once and put me on a later flight. Arrived London too late for BA Bangkok connection and had to pay for hotel myself. Got put on next days flight but lost pre booked seat. No compensation as they sited weather as the problem. Might have been for the flight destined to come to Aberdeen but the weather there was perfect! Could have put me on a later flight that would have made the connection but obviously I don’t suck cock!

Like a lot of the other people here, if you send it to the Bangkok Bank it is around two the next banking day. (Never timed it to the nearest minute 🤣). K-Bank is almost instantaneous but my wife prefers the Bangkok Bank app and doesn’t mind waiting.

I don’t normally use it myself although my wife has been invited in to explain to her Bangkok Bank manager when I transfer unusually large deposits, when we are buying something high value. She likes Bangkok Bank because of their phone app, although the transfer usually takes longer than to K-Bank etc. Probably because of scrutiny of the transfers.

Not necessary as explained, but Wise specifically ask now whether you want to show the funds came internationally and have information about this when you get to the transfer stage. Presumably for the people making the >/= 65k monthly transfers.
