I really don't care what you think. I have a khor ror 2 rigt in front of me. It is freshly printed from the ampheur. It is the updated certificate you get when you are married inside Thailand. If you got married outside Thailand, and register your marriage in Thailand after, a khor ror 22 is what you need in stead of a khor ror 2.
no you are still mistaken. The rose border is NOT khor ror 2. It is Khor ror 3. The updated one you get from ampheur is the khor ror 2 if you got married inside Thailand. The khor ror 22 is ONLY for if you got married OUTSIDE Thailand
most immigration offices require to see both the khor ror 3 (rose border certificate) and an updated certificate khor ror 2 to see you are still married. Because you could be divorced and just keep the khor ror 3.
you are mistaken. I have copies right here as I have just used them. The rose border marriage certificate is a khor ror 3. The one you get from ampheur that cerifies you are still married is a khor ror 2. I am looking at them right now.
What you typically need is minimum 400K baht in the bank for two months before applying. In an account in your name only.
You also need:
Your Thai marriage certificate (the one with the rose borders.)
Updated kor ror 2 (certificate from ampheur, that states you are still married.
Copy of all pages in your passport with something on it.
Photos of you and wife inside and outside the house. They typically want to see you in the kitchen, living room, bedroom, outside, on the street in front with a visible house number.
Shouldn't be a problem whatsoever unless you've maxed out all your stays with extensions on each, 3 times this year already. Then someone might start asking questions at immigration.
Meaning if you are not seemingly living here more or less on free stamps.
Short trips. You'll be just fine. Even several times a year.
