I was told that you have to show movement on the account . A static account is not acceptable. Can’t remember when or where I was told that so I’ve never done it. Like everything else here it depends who you see and a what office.
I lost mine and went to immigration office to be told no problem . I did know the number of the card as I had a photo copy of it , the iO got another landing card crossed out the number and wrote the original card number on it. Job done. That was in NaN office. As always depends on the office / officer.
I understand fixed interest accounts are different to normal accounts but not able to pay in that’s a new one on me withdrawal I understand but hey it is Thailand.
