I usually use 24 hours time. All the trains in Japan are listed that way. After years of seeing the utility of it, I use it myself. Pisses off my sibs in the USA.
I'm an American and I had no trouble in KL. I didn't have all of "the proofs" so they sent me across the street, I used Line to ask my coordinator to fax them, submitted ALL ood the proofs the next day and picked picked it up the next day. If I'd arrived early and all of my proofs had been faxed in a timely fashion, I might have been able to get it done without the extra day. Lessons Learned: have all proofs in hand and arrive early so and problems can be fixed same day.
