ORIGINAL POSTERHi, I am wondering which embassies or consulates in Southeast Asia and South Asia are considered the most favourable when it comes to DTV applications. I think I can meet the criteria but rather not have to worry about it. Sri Lanka is one place I’d like to visit, but I’ve seen a few mixed reports on posts here. Thanks.

ORIGINAL POSTERHello, looking to apply for a DTV visa, though not in my home country. I’m currently in Bangkok. Do regional embassies charge the same amount for the visa/processing fees? Are some embassies more particular than others? My onward flight from Bangkok is to Kuala Lumpur—anyone applied at the embassy there? Thanks for the advice.

I own a US LLC and I'm employing myself to apply for the DTV. Can a "proof of stay" from a hotel can be used to apply as a "document indicating current location" in said country?

I am receiving a sponsor for the DTV from a relative and wondered whether some embassy’s are more willing to accept this over others? Is Hanoi ok for this or would somewhere else be better?
