Spotted this notice during a recent visit to immigration in Chaengwattana. Don't know if it applies at any other locations.
Worth marking your calendar if you have any immigration matters to deal with next Friday.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses a notice observed at the Chaengwattana immigration office, indicating that they will stop issuing queue numbers on a specified day at noon. Users in the comments clarify that '12 am' was likely a misunderstanding and that the cutoff is indeed '12 pm' (noon), predicting that the following Monday will be particularly busy as a result.

Pity they can't get their head around using 12:00 Noon....
Great! You read Thai. I can't seem to learn it. I think my mental hard drive is full.

Nah....just enough to know the date/time. Always helps to have a local version next to the English version for confirmation though.

I usually use 24 hours time. All the trains in Japan are listed that way. After years of seeing the utility of it, I use it myself. Pisses off my sibs in the USA.

thai official announcements use 24 hour time (like the military.
Seeing as in the thai it's listed as 12 that'd be noon even without reading thai ;) .

I think they actually mean they're going to stop issuing queue numbers on that day at Noon, NOT at midnight. ;)
