Hi Barbara,all sorted. I paid the 500 baht as I've got to go to the bank on Thursday

to sort out an account. If they posted it I wouldn't get it till the 27th!

thanks for the information. I've still got a while to go on my non-ed I was just trying to get information on the procedure. I have go to immigration next month for a 90 extension and will ask them when I'm there.

Thanks a lot. Now I've got to traipse around all the banks on Monday and try and open an account somewhere!
