Hi all - I was supposed to be going to Hanoi today to submit my DTV application but delayed last minute because, thanks to the incessant rain in Bangkok, my passport got wet and the ink from one of my stamps has ran through to the next page.
I've previously been denied entry to Vietnam because my photo page was damaged...has anyone got any experienced with smudgey stamps like this?
Dear My Colleagues in Group, My Son's Passport was soaked and damaged inside the washing machine, the stamps and valid VISA (Non-O) were destroyed. He will received new Passport from Embassy in few days. We would like to process the transfer or restamping of VISA (Non-O) at Immigration Division (1) at Chang Watthana -BKK in coming week.
Pls let me have guidance and advice about how to process ? What are required Documents ? and any information helpful for me (e.g- at that immigration office which counter should I start, what step to do, etc... ???) .
Thanks so much indeed for all colleagues giving advice and guidance.
Hello. I would like to ask if somebody has experienced their passport torn. Do you need to have your affidavit of destruction/mutilation publicly notarized around bkk? Or do your own embassy also offer public notarization?
My passport that was brand new in October has started to look like this on every page. Does anyone know why or whether it will affect me at immigration coming into Thailand?
I’ve just looked at my hubbys passport and I can see it’s got a little damage from coffee… do you think it will be okay or will I have to get a replacement?
Wet passport. I went to immigration 2 weeks ago to apply for my new marrage visa. I am currently on a temporary visa until the 11th of June. Last night my passport got wet in the rain. The front and back have curled. There is ink bleeding thorough som pages from old stamps. However my picture page looks to be okay. Will I have a problem when I go back on the 11th to get my full visa?
