TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is preparing to apply for a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) after spending three months in Thailand. They inquire about the necessary documentation, having ample funds and tax returns from freelancing in the UK. Commenters provide a link to the Thai Embassy's visa requirements and additional suggestions, including the need for bank statements, proof of funds, and a letter of remote employment.

- 3-6 months bank statements (to show you are making money)

- The 500k

- A letter of employment from your company

- A certificate/letter saying you can work remotely

I didn’t say either of those things.

1. They don’t require you to have 3-6 months of making money, they get the bank statements to discern how. But it is not a requirement, I am explaining why they ask for it.

2. The 500k only needs to be there at the end. I didn’t say otherwise.

There's no requirement for the DTV to show you are making money. They only want to see that you have the 500k savings over six months
