the same as in Australia and New Zealand - the only 2 countries I can 100% conclusively refer to. You can arrive at the airport with any visa you like but the immigration officer makes the final decision if you can enter or not. You have no right to enter in a visa.

I am a real amateur in this regard but what I would do is set up a Wise account and transfer a small amount into each account each month from Wise to keep the accounts active

it’s time to stop your trolling. This isn’t a philosophical question it is is pure mischief. Your question has more to do with countries like USA, Russia, China etc than Thailand. All countries restrict who can live and travel there not just Thailand. It’s time to shut up and go away.
