Anyone in Wales (u.k) know if the thai consulate in Cardiff is still operating? Have tried ringing on the number they supplied ( invalid number) also tried the email address but it was sent back ( couldn't be delivered). I have used them before and know it was appointments only,so I can't just rock up!

All visa matters are now handled through the evisa system. Most, if not all consulates in foreign countries that have adopted evisa have been closed, and the ones that haven't only offer services to Thai citizens now and have nothing to do with foreigners. You cannot enter the property of a Thai embassy or consulate, everything is done online.
