that’s because you’re getting ripped off on the exchange rate and then advertising that you are paying a lower fee

Agents used to be able to open a bank account up for-I’m not sure if this has changed or how much it would costs. Hopefully this is still an option for you and someone can recommend a reliable agent

is there where you say it’s called visa exemption?

If you need any advice on anything feel free to drop me a PM

Unless you are staying over 2 months then you won’t need to get a visa, you’ll get the visa exemption when you arrive.

For Muay Thai there are alot of gyms in Chalong, there’s a street called the fitness street or soi ta’ied that you can look up.

These gyms aren’t the best tho but they are more accommodating for tourist.

One of the best gyms is ran by Bryan Dobler an American called Phuket Muay Thai that’s in Rawai.

The best traditional Thai gym is in Kathu called Sor Dejdamrong Muaythai or closer to Rawai is Sinbi Muay Thai Training Camp - Phuket, Thailand ค่ายมวย ซินบีมวยไทย

‘the schools that offer the Muay Thai visa are not usually the best’

There’s no advice at all telling him not to attend language school - not sure where you got that from
