Going back and forth on using an agent vs doing it myself. I have everything I need but the money back guarantee the agent provides sounds really nice and her approval rate is reassuring. But I don't know if the extra cost is necessary.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion centers around whether to use an immigration agent for a Thai visa application or to apply independently. Although the agent offers reassurance through a money-back guarantee and a high approval rate, commenters advise weighing the costs against the benefits. Some affirm that applicants can successfully apply alone if they possess all necessary documents, while others emphasize the value of an agent's review and peace of mind. Various opinions on the necessity of using an agent based on document readiness and costs are presented.
excellent service. Went to hanoi and approved in 4 days

I assume that money back guarantee only applies to their actual service fee and not the fee for the visa.

If you are paying an agent to check all documents before submission and for peace of mind then why not if the amount is reasonable. That is what you are paying for, a quality check. Anything else they promise I would be skeptical.

You can apply for the visa yourself but if you don’t have the supporting documents then that’s what ur paying the extra cost for

It's a fraud. If you are eligible you get a visa. If not, no. They will be betting only on positive side without spending money.

What is the price for the agent? If you are worrying and it’s only cheap it might be a good idea 🙏

If you have everything you can do yourself.
IF you have doubts about your ability to apply use and agent.
