@Simon ******
he should open the bank account here in Jontiem not in Phuket because the agent will need to access the account locally to put the money in.

When you get to Jontiem get an agent to finish it all up. The price will be far cheaper since you have a non o 90. Maneerat visa can help you.

Most banks will not give you the documents needed the same day you asked for them. You need to go there and tell him what you need and make an appointment to come pick them up usually a few days later. To charge 300 baht. You need to go to immigration the same day that you get the bank statement can't go the next day we have to go to the same day. This is one of those things you need to kind of plan out. Go down to immigration in Jontiem and ask them for the forms you need they'll be happy to help you. Then go home and fill everything out and bring back the bank statement the same day you receive it. Sorry to keep repeating myself but this is a major mistake that people make

I just went to the branch and Pattaya. Ther was probably a hundred people waiting. Luckily I got there an hour before they open and was able to do what was needed. You need to bring your passport and one more form of ID from this country luckily I had a Thai driver's license if you don't then you're going to have to have an electric or water bill in your name. The whole process took over a half hour for me alone I have no idea how they're going to get through all the people that are waiting. When it was finished she informed me that stuff was sent to Bangkok and in a week or so my account will be unfrozen. Luckily I brought cash also with me from the states.
