Ok long question. I got my retirement Visa in jontiem from an agent in May. I left the country June 3rd and returned June 21st. So my first 90 day reporting changes to around September 19th. But I'm leaving back to the United States September 5th and returning February 5th 2025. So is my first 90 day reporting next year 90 days after the 5th of February 2025? I just don't want trouble next year. And yes I understand I need to buy a reenter visa before I leave. Thanks

Unless you leave at least four times you lose money getting a multiple re-entry permit (3800B versus 1000B)

@Graham *****
so if you go 3 times you loose pages in your passport but if you don’t travel a lot shouldn’t worry you

Twice up to re-entry in Feb and extension to May?

You're not on a visa but on an extension of stay as mentioned in the stamp in your passport. In order to do a 90 day report you must actually spend 90 consecutive days inside Thailand (including the day you enter)

Yes it will be after you return, and that's only if you stay 90 days that time.

You only ever file the TM47 after spending 90 consecutive days in Thailand. If you never spend 90 consecutive days in Thailand then you'd never file a TM47.

You should actually take that 90 day report slip out of your passport so it doesn't confuse anyone.
