Most of the Amphoes seem to ask for different things to comply...mine asked for my full birth certificate translated into Thai.. I got the translation done by a local lawyer and he was allowed to authorise it.. so no need for it to go to MFA....but as I say a lot of differences between amphoes
Haha.😃 I don't think 9000baht is rolling in money..everyone who has ever done this will have a different method I'm only saying of my experience as I was lazy and didn't want a lot of running around I enjoyed Bangkok while someone did everything for me :-)
www.legallymarriedin Thailand.com cost me 90 00 baht they did everything for me I only had to get my affirmation from The British Embassy + they collected and paid for the taxis to/from the Amphoe in Bangkok for the ceremony. There is definitely no same day service anymore.
I believe where the office is now will move into a new government complex in Mahasarakham when they finished the building...I have personally completed a 30 day extension on my multi "0" and recently a 12 month extension due to marriage there.... :-) :-)
I have a friend from Kalasin who uses Mahasarakham immigration (located at the police firing range just outside Mahasarakham) no problem I use too I live Kantharawichai.
When you are excited about a forthcoming holiday..you don't think that the people you are paying to do things on your behalf are not very good at their jobs..this is a sad story for a family who probably saved like mad to be able to take a holiday of a lifetime... :-(
