TLDR : Answer Summary
The requirements for a 90-day report in Thailand can vary significantly by immigration office. Commonly required documents include a copy of the photo page of your passport, a departure card, and a copy of your visa extension if applicable. However, some respondents noted that in certain locations, only the passport is necessary, while others mentioned needing additional documentation such as proof of residence. This reflects the inconsistent practices among different immigration offices across the country.

It sounds now like even for something so simple as a 90 day report all immigration around the country have a different criteria...I thought at first it was the only procedure that was uniform.

True. Same as online/postal reporting. No uniformity

I did mine last Dec together with my application for Extension of Stay. I noticed that first I got a new Notification of Address, Than a new 90 day report and the lady's where just filling in all the details in a brand new software program. Name, address, name landlord, telephone nr etc. I guess the system is now in use all over, that's why more papers needed. When I picked up my Extension a new 90 day report already in passport so I will see what happens next time.

do you know if the Immigration office in Maha Sarakham participates in the 90 day online reporting program?

Some offices won't do it. :/

and thus outlines the widely disparate requirements to do a mundane task like 90 day reporting at the various and sundry immigration offices scattered around the country :O
Gwydion *******
In Koh Samui; only need the passport. 😎
Steve ******
At Sarakham they give you the TM 47 and you fill it in and away you go.
Tod *********
I'd say take the TM.47 form and your passport. There hasta be a copy shop near by if you need copies.
Tod *********
In Bangkok you only need your passport and a filled out TM.47 form.

Unless you're mailing in your 90 day report when you need the things you mention.

Different Immigration offices may have slightly different requirements, Where are you applying?. For instance Samut Prakan requires: Photocopy of passport pages with following pages

– front page showing name / surname / Passport No., ect.

– current visa

– last entry stamp of immigration

– last extension of visa

Photocopy of house registration or rental contract (may be needed to show proof of your address)

Photocopy of departure card TM.6

Previous notifications of staying over 90 days (if any)

Completely filled in and signed notification form TM.47.
Steve ******
They didn’t ask me any of that at Sarakham. Just passport.
David ****************
Same here. In & out in 5 minutes at Sisaket. They even offered my coffee/biscuits
Steve ******
Do it online Ken.
