TLDR : Answer Summary
When filling out the 'Duration of Proposed Stay' on a multi 'O' non-immigrant visa application based on marriage to a Thai national in Savannakhet, you can either leave the field blank or write '1 year'. Many applicants suggest keeping it simple and not overthinking your response.

Arrive early and go to the guy opposite the consulate - you can’t miss him. He’s got blank forms and will fill it in for you correctly and attach your photos (don’t forget them) for 100฿. You just sign it.

I did mine myself and wasn’t sure so put 30 days as duration of stay, but I’ll use him next time.

I wish I’d used him. It was pissing rain and humid when I was there and i kept dripping water from my hair or sweat on my form and had to get another🙄.

(Agree tho, the form is simple.)

the forms are free, you certainly don't need to go over to that wing nut Tony to hold your hand to fill out a single page form :O

Don't over think it, face it you're not the first OR the only foreigner whose applying for a year-long, multi-entry Non-O visa there :P

Follow the KISS adage, Keep It Super Simple ;)

leave it blank, they don't care, OR put 1 year, they don't care in the least.
