Is it wise to have new passport size pictures taken for extension of o visa due to marriage. I have some left from last year's application.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The consensus among respondents is that it's wise to have new passport size pictures taken for the O visa extension, especially if your appearance has changed. While some have used old photos successfully, there are instances where immigration officials require updated pictures even if the previous ones are still valid.

Funny you ask that, I just accompanied someone to get their year extension based on being over 50 and we used the same passport photo as last year. The immigration officer saw it on her screen (they scan in the documents now) and said we had to go get a new photo taken for the application.
