I believe where the office is now will move into a new government complex in Mahasarakham when they finished the building...I have personally completed a 30 day extension on my multi "0" and recently a 12 month extension due to marriage there.... :-) :-)

I have a friend from Kalasin who uses Mahasarakham immigration (located at the police firing range just outside Mahasarakham) no problem I use too I live Kantharawichai.

When you are excited about a forthcoming holiday..you don't think that the people you are paying to do things on your behalf are not very good at their jobs..this is a sad story for a family who probably saved like mad to be able to take a holiday of a lifetime... :-(

My son arrived from KL into Don Mueang 2 weeks ago he wasn't asked to show proof of funds and super quick immigration too

In Mahasarakham I supplied yellow house book....medical certificate...International Driver Permit...take a colour vision test....line up 2 markers by pulling on 2 ropes..job done 2 year licence issued.

I have a an under consideration stamp to go back on the 24th September immigration phoned my wife today and told her to tell me 12 month extension is ready to go see them tomorrow :-)
