I have a re-entry permit. I have come to he conclusion that it is not necessary to transfer. Thanks for your advice. If the IO has a problem I will use the old man i not understand. But they never ask for visa on the way out. Especially with the new fast gates.

The Question is it necessary to transfer it to the new passport. I know it will cover me on entry to Thailand
Eddie ******
Yes i am aware of this thank you. But is it really necessary is my question.

maybe a diplomatic passport does not need visa exempt! So the wording is correct. By the way it's all over the forums regarding 2 entries per year.

So maybe you are not the expert you think you are, have a nice day.

Well I would rather belive the embassy than all this on Facebook. Having travelled to Thailand for the last 30 years I have found the rules on the London Embassy to be correct.

If you want the transfer for your retirement extension. You transfer for longstay in Thailand. It will then take 2 working days.It will then appear in your thai bank account as an overseas transfer for visaa applications. If you select for tourism it is almost instant transfer but is not correct for visa applications ie
