Is it possibly to get a covid extension before an existing one expires. Mine is valid to 13th April but I need to have visa till 28th April for my flight home. I am hoping I can apply before 25th March

I entered Thailand on a Tourist visa November 2021 and this existing extension is my first one

Answer summary

The discussion confirms that it is indeed possible to apply for a COVID visa extension before your current visa expires. Depending on the location in Thailand, applications can generally be submitted 30 to 45 days prior to the expiration date. However, the final decision lies with the immigration officers, and experiences can vary by location.

It is up to the immigration officers. Depending on where you are depends on the outcome.

They do not have to give it to you

we had alot of trouble at Leam Ngop. Wanted proof of outward flight and 2 weeks prepaid rental accommodation. They also said TM.30 info was incorrect which is wasn't. Hence our travel to Surat. Good luck!
