I only ever fly into Thailand over Phuket and never have been grilled. 4 Arrivals so far on DTV, no fast track.

I had 1 year left on my passport when I applied for the DTV. I just carry both passports with me, no problems at all.

I have the DTV. And I did the first 90 day report 10 days early. Effectively done the 90 day report after 80 days in the country. So the next 90 day report is after 170 total days in Thailand. If I hadn't done the first report early, I would be fine with 1 90 day report for the 180 day period.

So best is to wait for exactly 90 day to report, or be a few days late. I know that for next time.

You can submit the 90-day report up to 10 days early or 7 days late. However, if you choose to submit it early and stay for 180 days, you'll end up needing to complete two reports within that period. I assumed getting it done early would be more convenient, but they start counting from the submission date of the first report. So, even though I stayed only 178 days, I still had to file a second report.

it's fast. In Phuket immigration is special window just for 90 day reports. I came 30min before lunch break and I was in and out in 20min.

yes that was my mistake. I thought hey I am smart and do it a week before the actual 90 days so it's done. But in the end I had to do 2-90 day reports in 180 days period. Next time I will wait till 90 days are done.

I did the first one in person at immigration and was hoping to do the second one online as mentioned everywhere. But I tried it 2x and both times it got declined. So I had to visit the immigration in person for the second extension.

Anyone can confirm they actually did their second report online? I tried the second one, and it was declined, same as the first. I had to go to immigration in Phuket.
