TLDR : Answer Summary
If you are departing Thailand on the due date of your 90-day report (December 6th), it is still required to file the report as you have been in Thailand for the full 90 days. Failing to file may result in a fine of 2000 baht in the future. It is advisable to submit your report online, which can be done up to seven days before the due date.

Better to do a report too much and in time, than neclect it.

an overstay is what you are eluding to, totally different thing than a 90 day report.

If you are in Thailand for 90 consecutive days then your 90 day report is due. Even if you leave you were still required to file the report, and it may be noticed in the future when you'll be fined. All TM47 fines are 2000 baht.
