You don't get to see any bank book or paperwork. They keep it until everything is done and they return you an bank account with no money in at the end

Does it have to be 65,000 every month? (Equals 780,000 a year) or it can also be a few lump sum amounts within the year that will total 800,000? For example 4 x 200,000?

I did it on the initial 90 day non O after the Korat immigration advised me I had to do a 30 day extension first and come back to apply

 when you go apply for retirement visa your immigration office will ask you to extend your current so you are aligned with your requirements. They know what to do and what to tell you
