TLDR : Answer Summary
Many users have shared their experiences on transferring money from Thai banks to overseas banks, emphasizing various options apart from PayPal. Popular methods include using services like DeeMoney, TransferWise, and traditional banks such as Kasikorn Bank and SCB. Users reported that fees and exchange rates differ significantly, with some banks imposing limitations on non-Thai citizens. Recommendations for using DeeMoney highlighted its competitive rates and low flat fees, while TransferWise was noted for its reliability and favorable rates for receiving money. Additionally, some users suggested exploring Western Union as an alternative, combining the convenience of bank transfers with favorable rates.

I used to use Bangkok Bank. Lloyd's bank to Bangkok Bank in London, no charge. Bangkok Bank London to Bangkok Bank Pattaya £20, then a final 200 baht for Bangkok Bank Pattaya for receiving.
I now use Western Union - direct into my Kasikorn Bank £1.90 total, for up to £2000

Western Union via BKK Bank is the best for me. Set up a link between your overseas bank (in my case the UK) and WU. You have to do it online first on the WU THailand website and then physically take document proof, including your passport, to the Robinson Airport (Central) Mall.
Go to the small WU booth/office inside Robinson dept. store and give them the documents.
After that, you can transfer online via the WU Thailand website, only for a 100+ baht fee.
From using this service, I got better rates than I did with TransferWise or XE.com, at least for the last 18 months, unless things have changed.

There is a company called Dee Money in bangkok which does it. I havnt tried them myself because they had a lot complaints last year. Apparently they are resolved now. They have a storefront on Sukhumvit so I guess its legit.
Alternatively you could buy bitcoin from an exchange in thailand and send it to am exchange which pays out to bank in your destination country
Some banks are issuing special rates for this kind of service. Consult with your branch.

I haven't used it as I haven't needed to but my understanding is that DeeMoney works similarly to TransferWise in that the destination country transfer is domestic/fee paid. So there shouldn't be any extra charges, what you see is what you get.
Last time I looked at it, they were definitely cheaper than a Thai bank for smaller amounts. Certain Thai banks might become competitive for larger amounts (several thousand dollar+) for certain currencies. Bangkok Bank definitely has a better rate for USD for example, but not THAT much better and it is a fixed fee of around 1,150 all in versus 150 for DeeMoney. So you need to be sending quite a bit before the better FX rate overcomes the fee difference.

This is your best option to send to any overseas bank. Beats the rates the Thai banks offer. Thank me later.
you can get a bank of Bangkok account because they have a branch in New York City and you can access your money with no International transfer fee like that
You mean via bank? I thought it is possible in general though to transfer via western union from Thailand to literally any location via cash.

Felix Tw. I'm just talking about Transferwise. Many people use it to transfer money into Thailand because they have good Forex rate plus low rates. But cannot use TW to transfer out.

And Transferwise transfers from Australia to Thailand are literally completed in seconds when using Poli mode. You see the exchange rate, the low fees and I can ring my wife and tell her so many thb has just gone into your account, irrespective of business hours.

It's easy with Kasikorn Bank.
Once it's set up you can send money overseas on a phone app linked to your account. Limit , fees and exchange rates vary depending on amount.
, ok so any thai goverment ot Kbank requirements , or may be depending on amount?? , my interest is in like transfering abroad thailand like 50-75k euros...
.any amount over 10k USD is restricted and must be done in person at a bank , with paperwork and reason for transfer. Many countries are like this. Its anti money laundering regulations. Thailand is well known for its history regarding money laundering so they are strict about it. Getting money into thailand isn't hard. Getting it back out again in large amounts is a whole different story..
ok , my reason is if i sell an apartament that bfor i made transfer from abroad to buy it , so came back the money to my country , hope that even more complicate but afordable to do this ...for that i have the kasikorn bank document that the transfer received from abroad was to buy the apartment in bangkok...

It's not an issue.. you just state on the banks transfer paperwork that the money was from a real estate sale.

Do they transfer out now? It was blocked for a very long time due to Thai govt regulations.
