If you do a transfer all on one ticket from origin to destination technically you are not entering Thailand πŸ‡ΉπŸ‡­ just making a connection. Your bags should be booked to final destination as well.

I have used bank account statements which show monthly deposits from my retirement and social security. Maybe you can use them and if need be have your bank certify they are correct and accurate. Bank statements should have all your info on them including your current address.

In the past it was 30 and you could extend for 30 for 1900baht at immigration office. So you should be good.

additional every day I see farangs on the news doing stupid stuff like shoplifting and fighting and the news folks are blaming their government for the 60 day visa exemptions.

Folks that come to Thailand πŸ‡ΉπŸ‡­ need to remember that you are a guest here and only allowed to stay if they want you to. You not only hurt yourself but your actions also reflect on all of us unfortunately.

If you are from one of the 90+ countries on the list you should be stamped in for 60 days.
