my wife is Thai we like to visit Thailand 🇹🇭 for 3-5 months each year. We do not want to live in Thailand 🇹🇭 and still want to live in USA 🇺🇸. We stay at a hotel the whole time except when visiting family and friends. We eat out everyday and do all the tourist stuff and contribute to the economy.

I wish it was a less stressful situation about staying there for that period of time.

not true, with the visa exempt it attracts more visitors and they spend more money on accommodations and food and travel. Sometimes the visa are confusing and difficult for some.
