No it’s an excellent, reputable company but far to expensive especially at higher ages not making if affordable for most people. At 75 you will feel to pain of expensive premiums and have not any possibility to choose an other option

Pacific Cross was Earlier a catastrophe and could charge up to 120% higher premium if you used them. But they changed their policy abolishing the extreme individual charging scheme getting more in line with others. However, they are not the cheapest alternative and the premium accelerate quite much at higher ages. The cheapest alternative is today WR-life.

Not on your visa. He needs an own one. If you wait until he is 50 it will be much easier as he can apply also for an “retirement” visa.

Look for a travel insurance with extended health coverage. You positively will find much better options in Canada than in Thailand

Quite insufficient; you invest 300’ after 14 years you are paid about 325’. If choose to terminate earlier after 6 years you loose roughly 50’. Ok you have a life insurance policy that eventually benefit your wife. It’s nothing to have. Compare with US corporate IG rate bonds where you easily can have 4-6% yearly. Thailand is not good for financial investments
