Steve, if you have the financial means, do yourself a favour, pay an agent
We arrived end October (from the UK) on a 60 day tourist visa that we obtained whilst in the Uk) within the first 3 weeks we had approached a number of visa agents, chose one (in our case Mots) and here we are now end December, our long term visa is in place, we both have our bank accounts, able to obtain a driving licence if we want it, they will deal with the 90 ay reporting all thanks to the visa agent
Money well spend in our view, some people will argue it is a waste of money/ do it yourself and yes, they do have a point but with a reputable and trustworthy agent, they deal with the bureaucracy/ the waiting/ the administration, they take care of almost everything and for us, it has proven well worth it
Emily, do yourself a favour, get a 60 day visa whilst in the Uk, seriously it means you can get it sorted before you fly, that alone will reduce your stress levels, you can apply online (make sure you use the correct Thai Embassy website to avoid any scams) once it’s done, you are good to go just make sure, once you land and go through immigration, make sure they stamp you for 60 days and don’t inadvertently make a mistake and stamp for 30 days
Yes is the simple answer, You would transfer the amount from your bank account into your wise account and then, once the amount is shown in your wise account you can send it to someone else’s bank account (they do not have to have wise)
I’ve had 4 Emirates flights where I have carried in my hand luggage a months worth of Amitriptyline with no issues at all, would suggest you take your repeat prescription with you and ensure the medication is in its original box with your prescription label on (assuming you are from the UK)
not a debate as such, just interested in knowing what I could do if the salon refused to remove the advert/ photos of myself and my wife
However to answer your questions, I have joined a number of groups here on Facebook (including this one) I saw a rather misleading advert on another local group promoting their services, photographs were taken presumably to be used for advertising purposes and looking at the camera angle, I believe the stills were taken from cctv, had we have been asked, chances are we would have said yes but to have covert images taken, then used to make exaggerated claims within an advert using our faces without our knowledge is misleading and in our view wrong
