They are very professional and honest. I ended up doing everything on my own in regards to getting my non-immigrant O visa. But, I did talk to them on the phone and they were great. If you are looking for help with visa and/or Banking, I'm pretty sure they'll be very helpful.

This is one of the most honest and to the point answers you'll read in regards to visa, yearly renewal and Banking. I have spoken to them on the phone when I first arrived in Bangkok two years ago. And, they were great!

Try going to immigration and get a "Certificate Of Residence" from them. Tell the immigration customer service rep that you need it to open a Bank account. If they let you do it, then opening a Bank account shouldn't be a problem.

They won't take a 12 month printout from your bank? The bankbook itself has to be updated and they want to see it? I'm doing my first 12 months extension soon.

Thanks. Does the 65k deposits have to come from overseas? Or can I withdraw everything, leave the minimum 400k in the bank. Then use the cash as a deposit of 65k per month. Would that seem suspicious to immigration. I'm just wondering. I can afford to do either or.

ok so keep at least 400k until the 2026 extension. And deposit 65k per month for 12 months. Then you're ok after 2026? No more minimum deposits, only the 65k per month regular deposits?

is it two months before and three months after for 12 months extension? Or just two months before and never go under 400k baht.
