You can't apply while you're in Thailand mate. They will require proof of address which has to be outside Thailand and they also ask for your flight details. From here people usually go to Vietnam (Hanoi has a good record of approving DTV), Lao or Malaysia to apply.

There are a couple of those kinds of facilities around Chiang Mai, but I'm not sure if any of them can help with the DTV.

If you put 5 minutes of effort in, it's ridiculously easy to apply for the DTV.

CaptivatingPomegranate1527 you'll only be allowed into Thailand once that issue is dealt with back home, and the blue notice is cancelled. I'd highly suggest contacting a lawyer in your home country

Only time you'll be able to do it online with the DTV is if you get the 180 day extension
