Not going to name anyone but out of curiosity I asked agent for a quote for DTV. Crazy prices.

Do it yourself - it is not that hard. Ask for advice on here - it is free

hey howz everyone doing, good i hope.

so, i’m just finishing up my first 60/30 and settling in.

i have to do my first border run .if i FLY from bangkok to siem reap and tour angkor wat again, will i be good coming in for my second 60/30??? i’m saving up for my retirement visa here and want to use my own money to avoid the agency fees. so, i know things change here, sometimes very quickly.

i’m more than a little worried as i brought a lot of luggage, way too much for a border run and too much to afford to lose. i have proof of 1 year contract and permanent government pension and over half the required savings but i’m still nervous. i keep hearing each immigration officer is different and could almost arbitrarily say no.

Can anyone suggest me a reliable yet affordable School or agency for getting a thai ED visa.

I am looking for a thai Ed 6 months visa. Can I do it while in Thailand with a tourist visa or I must apply for the ed visa from my country?

I am currently on a “O” marriage visa based on marriage to a Thai

I am considering changing it to a Retirement visa when it exprires in December and using an agent to get through the financial requirements

My question is has anyone with 1st hand experience using a Visa agency and what are the time frames involved and procedures like how many visits to the immigration office etc.

Thank you for knowledgable answers only please 🙏

Hi everyone! 😄 any recommendations for reputable Visa Agencies for DTV?

My partner and I travel for most of the year but are now looking to make Thailand our main base. There is so much information out there, we both want to make sure we go about this is in the right way, respect the rules and have the process be as seamless as possible.

Any recommendations would be so appreciated, there is SO much to take in😅

I’ve read that if I use an agency to extend my non o 90 day visa I’ll have to continue this process every year. Is this true?

If after I obtain the retirement visa with the agency could I switch to a marriage visa the following year on my own?

Gutted this morning, my partner in Thailand has been turned down for a visa to visit the UK, long story and I understand this page is about Thai visa’s, however I would appreciate any advice with regards to a helpful FB page in relation to UK visas. Thank you in advance.

*** update - the reason UK immigration have given to refuse the visa for her is that me being the sponsor only has £1,200 in the account I submitted and therefore wouldn’t have enough to pay for a return air ticket and support her whilst she was in the UK, also said she only had £433 pounds in her Thai bank which wouldn’t be enough for her for the two week holiday to the UK. The application was submitted 29th April for a visit early June, it would appear you have to have lots of funds at the time of application to cover the flights etc even though advised not to purchase a flight ticket until a visa has been issued, also why would they assume I would purchase a flight for her using the money in that account, I have other debit and credit cards which I could have used, absolutely bizarre decision.
