Hey everyone, I’d really appreciate some advice on my visa situation 🙏

My situation in short:

* 🇩🇪 German, 29 years old

* 🎓 Officially a student (Bachelor in Applied AI) at an online University in Germany

* 💻 Also working part-time remotely for a German company (but I don’t have an official letter saying I can work from Thailand)

* 🥊 Planning to join a Muay Thai school for several months

* 📍Currently staying in Thailand on a tourist visa

* ✈️ I need to leave Thailand by 20 November

* 💰 Bank statement proof (up to 500,000 THB) is no problem

* 🎯 Goal: stay long-term (ideally DTV-Visa for 5 years, but 6 months would already help)

* 💸 Looking for a low-cost, transparent process – I know official DTV fees are 350 EUR, but agencies quote me 1,000 EUR+, which feels excessive

My questions:

* Has anyone successfully applied for a DTV-Visa themselves (without agency help)?

* Do you know a reliable Visa-Agency that charges a fair price?

* Is it possible to find a Muay Thai school that can provide the official *Letter of Education/Proof of Enrollment* directly, without going through an agency?

* Or is it true that self-applications usually cause issues with the Thai authorities?

Any tips or personal experiences would help me a lot. Thanks in advance 🙌

Okay I feel seriously overwhelmed trying to sort this all out. I have a family of 4 - myself I’m almost 50, wife is 37, kids are 15 and 18. I primarily make my income off of investing on the OTC and a very small trust check monthly as well. My trading account tends to have $100k or more liquid and $200-400k in play. We own a home in the US we plan to rent out while we aren’t there.

What is the best, simplest method to live in Thailand for 6-12 months at a time leaving to either another country or back to the US for a few weeks to a month or so annually?

My daughter being 18 would like to work there but my 15 year old will be continuing digital classes via a US school. I will continue to randomly swing trade while the wife will not work.

Best visa course of action with the process to get it done for a person who hates paperwork and really isn’t too great with crossing t’s and dotting i’s 😂

Hello,

My son lives in Thailand First at a tourist visa, but that has now expired and he is back in the Nederlands.

In May we applied for the DTV visa at the Thai embassy throygh a visa agency in the Nederlands.

It was rejected because he still had a visa (while the embassy had said before that this was not a problem)

We are now going to request it again.

Can anyone advise me on whether i should have it done by an agency again? And if so by a dutch or thai agency

And what is easier as a freelancer or through muay thai

Because i read that you can register through an immigration service and then you will receive all the required paperworks

I hope you can advise us so that the application goes well this time

Because he wants to go back tho Thailand as soon as possible with a visa

Can anyone recommend a reliable and legally registered agency in Bangkok that can help with obtaining the DTV (Destination Thailand Visa)?

I’d prefer to go through an experienced agency with good reviews to make sure the process is smooth.

Thanks a lot in advance 🙏

Hello all, again. I’m in the USA selling some property so I can put $26,000 USD in a US bank account. Problem is I can’t wait two/three months for the account to “season” in order to apply for a 90-day Non O visa as I planned. It seems my only option is to return to Thailand without a non O and then just hire an agency. The second problem is that from November to July of this year due to extenuating circumstances and lack of knowledge I ended up doing THREE border runs (used an agency).

So I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t be allowed re-entry even though I have no bad marks in passport or even comments from any IO. My question is, can I re-enter the kingdom by using a “fast track” service and then hire an agency to do the magic required for a 90-day Non O visa, bank account, and extension of stay? Or is there an option I am not aware of? Thanks.
