I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to share a personal experience and reach out to you all for guidance. Unfortunately, I was recently denied my first DTV visa extension at both Bangkok airports in December. The reason for the rejection was related to a previous marijuana case in my home country, which has had a significant impact on my situation.
As a result, I've been unable to return to Thailand and have been in Vietnam since December 15th, trying to find a solution. If there is any way for me to resolve this situation and return to Thailand, it would mean a great deal to me. Being able to come back would allow me to continue my Muay Thai training and focus on personal growth, both for myself and for others who rely on me.
If anyone has any advice or suggestions on how I can navigate this challenge and make my return possible, I would be deeply grateful. Your support and any insights you can share would be incredibly valuable to me.
Thank you so much for your time and consideration. I truly appreciate this community.
If you get denied a visa extension for over staying a few days. What happens? I understand you pay a fine but then you have a few more days to get your things and leave the country or they escort you to the airport.
I was just denied my annual OA extension based on monthly income because I could not show that I have a pension or income in USA. I draw on my brokerage account which has a substantial amount. Is there any appeal process or will I need to put 800K into my account here and leave Thailand come back and apply for O VISA.
Current extension expires Dec 17. Udon thani office
So, my previous employer cancelled my work permit without notifying me (after agreeing on giving me a couple of weeks for my new company to make the transfer) and now i found myself in overstay situation, which i have never experienced before. My solution is to fly out to laos this sunday, get a tourist visa and abstain from work until the new non-o is issued.
My questions are
How will the overstay affect my chances of getting a new tourist visa?
