I honestly don't know how they're making it so difficult... maybe you're not clear enough for them... Look, you're allowed ONE 30 day extension following a 60 day tourist visa.. this is routine, almost everyone gets it.. theres no consideration, it's simple and routine. you need the following TM7 (request for extension, copy of passport info page, copy of entry stamp, copy of tm6 card (that's your departure card) 2 passport photos, 1900. That's per application. Maybe, just maybe, the screen shot of the TM30 (residency) that you can get from your accomodation. Don't mention covid, dont mention medical. Straight 30 day extension. If they mess you around again then ask for a supervisor...

Don't forget to leave a trip advisor report once you've left

There appears to be a misunderstanding. You're on a 60 day tourist visa. You are allowed 1 30 day extension. The cost is 1900thb each. There are no 4 day extensions. There is no requirement to have passports sent away. I would go back and speel to another io. If you have any further issues then ask for a soupervisor. Take notes and collar numbers. They look for easy targets (low hanging fruit).
