anyone know Ottawa's 🇨🇦 wait time for DTV Visas recently? Called & applied last week and they said 25 business days but hoped that was more of a cautious estimate from them. Seen ppl getting theirs in like a week.

How many days before flying to Thailand i have to apply for the digital arrival card?

Hi all, based in Melbourne, Australia and I am thinking of applying for the DTV. Is there a difference in cost (or process) applying here vs say applying in Malaysia or Vietnam?

(Posting anonymously because I don’t want people in my business! )

So on the DTV after the 5 years is up do you just reapply for visa or how does that work?

6 months bank statements (My 500,000THB had only been in my bank since the 01/09/25)

Laos entry stamp in passport

Invoices

Work contracts off clients

Went to embassy and paid visa fee in cash with QR code (10,000 baht) - 04/09/25

Recieved Date for interview - 04/09/25

Attended interview - 10.00am on 15/09/25

Visa Approved 02.15pm on 15/09/25

applying at jakarta. at first i thought they required 3 months of bank statements but now that im looking at their website again, i dont see anywhere that says that.

does anyone have official information for how many statements we need for jakarta?

do they require the 500k baht to be in the account for 3 or more months, or does it matter as long as it's the final balance at the time of application?

DTV visa application - Embassy of Paris

Hello everyone, I applied for my visa on July 17th and I haven't heard back yet. My boyfriend got his visa in about 5 days.

So, has anyone applied for a DTV visa through the Paris embassy recently? Do you know how long it might take at the moment?

I have a question about the soft dtv visa. Are you legally allowed to work online as well? Obviously you're not allowed to work for Thai clients; are you allowed to freelance online for non Thai residents whilst staying in Thailand with a DTV soft power visa?
