if you live over 180 days outside it is mandatory to inform hmrc and form p85 is the mechanism to do that

yes, obviously they can see how many entries, the duration of each and the total no. of days so far, in thailand this and previous years

as a non resident you are prohibited from the nhs except gp or a&e. must have still got a uk adddress and never told dwp and hmrc, which may be checked in the future

you can attempt to get from hmrc a NT tax code as a non resident , thus paying no uk tax
