I know a guy who is working in the oil industry, living in Thailand and had bought himself a Elite visa. He told me that was the only way to get in and out Thailand without any restrictions.

You probably mean the temporary measure of 45 days visa exemption that expired on April 1 last year. then it went back to 30 days.

Sure. You arrived 9 november as you mentioned.

Any local extension of your METV will be 30 days only.

METV gives you 60 days at each entry within the validity of your visa. Take a 30 days extension or leave the country, make a easy border bounce and return possible the same day.

Common advise for a border bounce. Take a visa agent. They are familiar with the border situation and make sure the bounce will run smooth.

On 31 October 2023, the Cabinet of Thailand approved the visa exemption scheme for holders of ordinary passports (or travel document holders) of India and Taiwan to enter and stay within the Kingdom of Thailand for a period not exceeding 30 days. The scheme will be effective from 10 November 2023 to 10 May 2024.

In my case a Non O retieement extension. I go to my country and get a new passport. Reenter with 2 passports. Do i need to go to the immigration who issued my extension straight away? I did plan to stay in Bangkok a few weeks before comming back to Chiang Mai. I got my extension in Chiang Mai.

Go as soon as posible. No need to wait. Get it done.

Next time make a apointment online. For my yearly extension last week i arrived 11.20 for my 11.30 apointment and got my extension 11.55. No queue, you book a time.

Like a injection once a month? I guess thats not a reason to get any kind of visa.
