TLDR : Answer Summary
Upon returning to Thailand with a multiple entry visa, it is required to file a TM30 address registration with the Thai Immigration office to confirm your re-entry. Responses in the community confirm this; however, some users shared their experiences of not registering without facing issues, leading to mixed perspectives on the necessity of TM30 registration when returning after an extended absence.

I managed to do my TM30 online. It’s not easy and took ages. First part is to key in the address and get that approved then you can put in your personal details.

I asked at Hua Hin immigration if I need to register again for TM30 when I come back in the country after nearly 3 months with a single re entry on a retirement visa and always stay in my condo. They say : no need because I always stay the same place.

I’ve never registered with my multi entry but I’ve always left at the 90 day mark and never had a problem entering or exiting without registering a tm30

you need to be prepared to be asked for it when you need any service from the Thai Immigration office. It's changed in recent months.

@Shuvam ******
assistance meaning if you're EVER going to need to visit an immigration office in Thailand.

@Shuvam ******
it's for all who needs the assistance of Thai Immigration.

That includes you when you re-enter Thailand. Ask your local Thai Immigration office for their requirements for the TM 30 address registration.

IF you have access to the online TM30 address registration application...try to see if it accepts your return to Thailand.
