Please show me this news. I've never seen a single article about that happening and it was from the bank itself. You're just making stuff up and propagating unfounded rumors.

It's not a viewpoint. It's LITERALLY in black and white right there. Thai people are complaining, that's the ONLY reason this is in the news. All the reactions from the government are for Thai people. They do NOT care about foreigners. This "system" to unlock the accounts is not for foreigners. It's for Thai people whose accounts have been frozen based on suspected mule activity.

Bangkok Bank is asking people to come in with their visas and passports, and such. That has nothing to do with mule activity, that is KYC (Know your customer) as clearly stated in the picture I posted. That is NOT covered by any of this 4 hour etc.

As previously mentioned, this literally has nothing to do with you or any of the other foreigners whose bank accounts are frozen. This is about THAI accounts.

You can see they clearly said this is only for people whose accounts are frozen based on suspected illegal activity which is not what Bangkok Bank is doing.

not if you book one that's free cancellation. It should be clear when you book

Number of entries is not much of a factor. It's mostly about how much time you spend in Thailand. If you're only spending 40 days per year in Thailand, you're not going to have any issues.

I sure hope you're not flying all the way to Thailand from the UK to only spend 8 days though! Too much time spend at airports and on a plane.

there's nothing to process. TM30 is instant. You submit it. You go back in and search for what you submitted (only available for 7 days) and print it.

If you fail to do that, submit a new one and then print that.

Embassy rules are clear. You must remain in the jurisdiction of the embassy during the entire application period. Leaving is grounds for your application to be rejected with no refund.

The embassies near Thailand are very strict about this and like to do random checks like asking you for a receipt showing you're still in the country or calling you in for an interview.

It's only for visa exempt.

These are questions you need to be asking your employer. They will tell you if they can convert to non-B inside Thailand (most employers can't or won't) and if they can they will tell you how much time you need left and if you need to apply for extension or not.
