Reminder that today is the last day immigration is open until January 3rd.

Both December 30th and January 2nd are holidays and immigration will be closed on those days.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Reminder that immigration offices in Thailand are closed for the holidays, specifically on December 30th and January 2nd, and open only on December 29th before reopening on January 3rd. Most embassies and consulates will be closed as well, potentially delaying visa processing times. A question about visa extensions was asked but remains unanswered.

Do you know if it's possible to get a 7 day extension on a 45 day + 30 day?

@Kelly *****
there is no such thing as a 7 day extension.

You can try applying for any extension when you don't qualify, and then may receive a 7 day "application denied, you must leave the country" stamp. The immigration officer does not have to accept your application, and it's generally advised to avoid this if possible as it can affect future applications for visas or extensions or make it more difficult to enter the country.

This also applies to most embassies and consulates worldwide. Visa processing times will be delayed because of the holidays too.
