My 1 year on non-O visa is coming up in January.. Every month I got in the 65,000฿ (so I can withdraw the 800,000 after a year). Monthly it was in on the same day or next, one time it was 4 days off. And a couple of times it was in pieces (the 65,000 was divided up - like 30,000, 10,000 and 25,000 all coming in at once) because otherwise Wise wouldn't get it in time. Hoping this might work out somehow, or am I screwed up on this technicality... maybe dependent on the agent?

Good morning to the community,

I have a question regarding the monthly 65000 baths transfer from abroad for retirement 1 year extension.

On thai admin website I read that it should come from pension. Is it correct and if yes how can I prove that these 65000 baths originate from my pension ?

Thks in advance

Have a nice day

Hi! We’re planning to stay 90 days in Thailand. We will have 60 days on arrival, can we ask for the 30day extension right away after arrival or we need to wait a certain number of days to go to the immigration office?

Hi guys. I heard that if you are applying for one-year extension based on marriage or retirement, you can apply up to 45 days before your current renewal expiry date. Can anyone confirm this? I normally apply about two weeks before but would certainly do it sooner if I could.

Hi guys, I just did the 1 year extension on the marriage visa. First I was thinking I have to keep the money in the bank all the time, but considering I got the 1 year stamp and need to do only drive through 90 days reports and some comments I've seen here lately, it seems like I can use these money now? Or I will have problems obtaining next extension in 1 year if I don't keep them untouched? 🙏

If you live with your wife and family at your residence and go away on holiday within Thailand for a day, days or week do you need to inform immigration upon your return ?

Immigration TM30 Notification of Residence of Foreigners

We have been told if you stay in the same residence, you do not need to re-submit every time you go away, as long as it's within a specific time period.

Is this correct ?

What is the time period ?

Many thanks!

I re-entered yesterday on a TR 60 visa (filed in Penang, Malaysia.) So I have a few questions about the 30 day extension I will get next month:

1) Do I need to get my landlord to file a TM30 again? I previously got her to file a TM30 in February 2022 when I was getting my ED visa. I'm staying in the same condo.

2) Do I still need a TM6? I seem to not have any white paper since I didn't fill any arrival card this time?

EDIT: Ok, I just saw TM6 has been cancelled. I just need help with Q1 then.

Hey folks,

I’m on a 60 day TR visa (exp. May 27th), and got a 30 day extension on top of that today, and now I hear May 24th will be the last chance to apply for covid extension. My question is: Can I apply for covid extension before the 24th, even if I go to the immigration office while still in my initial 60 days?

Thanks!

Good Day to you all. Back in pre-COVID days I would hang out in Thailand for 90 days (60 days TR Visa + 30 days extension of stay) and then bugger off to Vietnam and get another 60 days TR Visa from the Thai Consulate in Hanoi or Saigon. Therefore, I have never stayed in the kingdom for longer than 90 days. However, due to the fact that I am getting the 60 days COVID EXTENSION, at the end of March my stay in Thailand will exceed 90 days. I am well aware that farangs who stay in Thailand for longer than 90 days are required to do the “90 Days Reporting” at the immigration office. I will be visiting Jomtien immigration office at exactly 90 day after my arrival due to their stamp in my passport.

My question is - Do I need to do the “90 Days Reporting” in addition to submitting my passport for additional 30 days stamp on my COVID EXTENSION?
